This globetrotter and multilingual was born in 1996 in Bogotá, Colombia.
Juan David did not wait until he was 1 year old to start traveling and only 6 months after his birth he went to Puerto Inírida, Guainía with his mother and maternal grandmother. After Guainía, Juan David and his mother Zulma Niño arrived in Bucaramanga, Santander in 1997 and remained there until 2007. That year, for family reasons, Juan David returned to Bogotá to complete his baccalaureate until 2012.
Already after having lived 16 years in a Spanish-speaking country. In March 2013, Juan David was looking for new challenges, and thanks to his father Luis Urbina who was already living in Canada. Juan was able to move to Calgary, Alberta. There, he improved his English level for 4 years by studying again at the Western Canada High School located in the center of the city on Avenue 17.
Later, at age 21, in 2017, Juan David arrived in Montreal, Quebec with one goal of learning French. Over the past 4 years, Juan David has completed francization, a "DEC springboard for allophones" and is preparing to finish CEGEP in Modern Languages.
Now 25 years old, Juan has lived in 7 different cities across the Americas. He has traveled to 27 countries and participated in 3 international scout events (Jamboree Scout Sweden 2011, Jamboree Scout Japan 2015, World Scout Moot Iceland 2017).
From an early age, there was also a penchant for business since in Colombia he completed his bachelor's degree with a specialization in technology, accounting, and finance. In addition to participating in various for-profit and non-profit events.
Purpose of life
All these adventures that I have lived for more than 10 years, made me realize that everything I do turns out to be a movie of my life and that I myself have the control to create what happens. in the next chapter.
My goal is for those around me to be able to create their own stories.
Through languages and my love of travel, I seek to create an environment of mutual development in the areas of leadership, financial freedom, and personal growth for everyone in Canada.
